Highland Bagpipes.
My Bagpipes are hand crafted by myself. I bring over 50 years experience in the bagpipe industry.
Everything i manufacture is covered by my own personal money back gaurantee if not completely satisfied.
On the playing side of my career i have had a very successful time playing under P/M Bob Hardie and P/M John Weatherston. Bob was also my instructor as i was the first apprentice bagpipe maker with R G Hardie & co.
Finishing my apprenticeship after 5 years i then completed 2 years national service as a piper with the H.L.I. returning to Hardies for a further 9 years.
In 1967 i with my family left Glasgow in a move to Angus where i joined the company of R Gillanders &Son later to become Gillanders & Mcleod. During this time i was appointed to the post of P/M of Dundee City Police who at that time were re organiseing their band.
